StreeStyle, HUH??!!

okay, i have been down with streetstyle since 2008....this site used to be filled with people that ACTUALLY rated the outfit it deserved, not just to give them a 10; cause their FRIENDS!!! they voiced out their opinions on an outfit and werent called HATING when they did....times has changed on StreetStyle. i wish the "old heads" of streetstyle would comeback, just to give this site LIFE; that it used to have.....and i hate to be the one to say it, but i think that StreeStyle is pretty much RIGGED!!!! people that dont deserve 10's gets 10's, just cause their cool with each other. they get editor's pick, even if its an average pic....i believe that trendsetta was complaining about this.....this site is officialy DEAD, just the fact that people are getting confused with voicing out opinions so you can better your outfit to "OH, YOU DONT LIKE MY SHIT!!! YOU A HATER SON!!!" do not be scared to criticisize a pic and STOP rating pics with no GOD DAMN COMMENTS!!!!!!

Editor's Picks have nothing to do with politics. I choose the images I feel best represent what this site is about. I also choose images that I feel will make the casual visitor want to join, since they're featured on the front page. I'm not the only one capable of choosing Editor's Picks, but I feel I can speak for all of them.

Some of us old heads r still here; im not as active as I was due to some of the points you made above. There is alot of people who want to cry if you dont give them a 10 or confuse opinion with hating. I can't speak on ed. picks because I really don't look at them. But all I can say is do you

Yeah you right to some extent, Just rate what you want on uploads and also be able to take critizism like the next member. I have gotten low balled on rating too just for having an opinion but hey imma still put the score that my fashions eye wants . Hang in there dude , its plenty of other sites to post your fits Ya know.

wait a minute i don't know what STREETSTYLE u talkin bout but when i go to the back of the gallery i c a shit load of hate, opinions, an asshole opinions..........certain folks on here can talk that how it used to be shit all they want but when i look at some of trends pics i c it all.....folks might say somthing ain't right an he'd defend it saying what ever..........friends give 10s 9s or 8s and who ever gets it defends it or just say nothing and take it....its normal everyday styles on here and fashion forward styles on here....i been here since 09 and done seen, read, rated and roasted dope shit to wack shit.........the real problem is ppl just sayin fuckit and complaining rather then just contributing.........the ol heads of streetstyle did the samething u say we do........if a fit was alotta 9s witta few 10s then thats what it was but a shit load of 10s and a couple 9s or 8s then what the hell u expect "ya rate or your critiquing might get questioned" its been goin on 4 three years now....nothins really changed some ppl just left........everybody still rockin jordans and up and comin brands and puttin a new twist to ol styles.........some of yall just scared of change........hell THE HOMIE MONARCH HAD SOME OF THE CRAZIEST FITS ON HERE AND HE GOT 10S AN 9S AAAALLLL DAY.....JUST QUIT FUCKIN COMPLAINING AND POST AND ALWAYS BE BETTER THEN YA LAST

Martian is correct, but not 100%, to go and say that streetstyle is dead, people throwing 10's like nothing and that the rating is biased you really shooting for it a bit to far. Yes streetstyle has been slow but not dead. I haven't been uploading pics lately but still wanted to contribute. That's why i made the FB page streetstyle might not be the best page but i say i do a decent job running it for the most part. I joined streetstyle just because i wanted to see how my style is compared with others. Never cared about the low ratings or comments about it (unless you a person with no uploads yourself or you own style needs improving). Basically if you can't deal with the ratings/comments don't be on streetstyle. Yea people be throwing 10's around fits that don't really need it but it don't be everyone who does it. Also i would like to think that even though your cool with people on streetstyle, it still don't change the way you rate their fits either.

*P.S: I think the rating system should give us a half a rating (ex. 5.5, 7.5, 9.5) cause i'm sure that there has been a lot of fits in the past that members felt needed that kind of rating but the rating system didn't allowed it(we can only rate using whole numbers). So the person rating he/she fit either rounds up or rounds down the numbers.

U really popin off at me for no reason. Since you quoted me I said "due to some of the points" i didn't agree with everything he said. Also another reason I haven't been uploading is because I been busy with other priorities. I never said SS was DEAD if it was i wouldn't login just to check around. I still enjoy seeing fashion from across the US and sometimes the world. I didn't call names or single anyone out. Yes some of the old members did cry over ratings or comments and this conversation has been had before when many of the old heads were still active. And I said some of the same exact things then. But there seems to be alot more of it goin on now. R-othashit u been here for a minute so I was not even referring to you. Furthermore, i never said anything about anyone's style. Monarch was frsh 2 me. I respected the craziness few pll dare to rock the shyt he did and pull it off. The same way I respect ur frsh for wearing some of the wild shyt u wear. I respect a person's style who doesn't look like the next. If I wanted to start a beef I would have called pll out individually. I was making a generalized statement you turned it into a personal attack.

I would like to add a few words to this heated topic of discussion if I may. I’m new to this site I joined street style 4 months ago. I’ve been known for my fits of questionable style sence. I’m either on top my game or as Swagg Ops would say, “The Laughing stock of this site”. I appreciate the constructive critzism and free advice.

Anybody that rates 10’s or 1’s should explain why they feel the fit deserves such rating. If everyone was honest and included a simple explanation of their reasoning it would make this site 100% real talk. If Jim Carey’s honnesty from the comedy, Lair Lair, was present in all of us streetstyle would look something like this;

10- wow above the normal high standard, rare item, good color combo/nice style/ dope ect.
10-this for the 10 you dropped on my medericore fit (paying it fwd)
10- I’m rating your assets not your dudz girl. (80%)
10- wow everything is done perfect imo. (good)
10-I need more friends on here (rim job rate)
5- nice shirt but bell bottoms an wooden clogs just no bro (real talk)
1- Is this a joke?/ Are for real?/ not one thing is right about this fit. Here’s my advice… ect.( Constructive real talk best)
1- Your style is decent but your wearing a brand I don’t like.(brand hate)
1- Payback is a b!tch (revenge rate hate)

1- didn’t like your comment so low ballin’ to seek revenge (ei real talk hate)

1-I didn’t even check out pics I just don’t like your face.(Hatin’ for no reason)

Bottom Line if your gonna hate have a good reason and take the time to offer your advice to improve the overall look of the fit if possible.

If people to continue to pass counterfit c-notes over and over again it will lead to a weak value of the dollar to the point of collapse in the market. Much like the value of 10 ratings here at streetstyle. 10’s are getting thrown around like dollar bills at a strip club during happy hour. People need to be real and rate as if you were Simon Cowell We all need to use discresion and not be afraid to throw quarters at dem b!tches figuratively speaking of course if need be in which Dollar bills are 10’s and quarters are 2.5’s dimes are 1’s.

So if I was to throw 2 quarters and a dime at a “b!tch” I’d be rating the fit _____/10?
