Default H&M good quality or bad quality?

Today, I went to the Mall, I notice H&M have beautiful european designer looking fashions. I seen a beautiful coat there, but I'm afraid to buy it. I went on a shopping spree with forever21 and all of their quality turned out bad. i don't want to waste money like that again. So are H&M and Zara's good
quality or bad quality?

From my experience both H&M and Zara are good quality clothing. Zara though is more high end than H&M with their prices in general while H&M prices are reasonable based on what you're buying from them. I've brought plenty of stuff from H&M in the past and I personally always felt like I got my money's worth from their stores.
Zara on the other hand I've never brought anything from them. Not because I can't afford it or anything like that but because a lot of their clothes just doesn't seem to be worth the money when I can go to H&M and probably get something similar if not the same for way less money(this is based on the men's clothing so I don't know if that's the same case for the women's clothing in Zara even though I'd assume it's the same outcome). Anyways H&M and Zara are both good just keep in mind that Zara is technically more expensive than H&M in terms of pricing.

I had a slim h&m suit for a couple days, but ended up returning it because it was a size too small. that being said, for its price, it's definitely decent quality. that's not to say that it's high quality, but you do get your money's worth. that plus the fact that it's one of the few brands that can offer slimmer fits with decent quality and low price points make their suits very attractive to the budget-conscious.

I'm wondering what everyone's opinion on H&M is. I know so many of my friends who shop there, saying that it's so cheap and so trendy, but everytime I walk in there, I just get overwhelmed by how bad the quality is. What is your opinion on that store? I feel like maybe I'm just biased because of the cheap price and that I'm overlooking the good.

H&M is where you go to buy something reasonably fashionable for a two or three time use and then forget about it ... that way you wont feel so idiotic for spending a lot of cash on something you used once or twice ... H&M has nice products but does not cost an arm and a leg..Actually, I dont know why it is not SF approved. If offers a certain degree of quality for its low price.
No one expects a Borrelli quality suit at the prices of H & M or Uniqlo..

I'm not the biggest fan... on me, their clothing is ill-fitting, and they rarely have my size. Furthermore, I don't get excited or inspired when I go in there, because there are so many drab-looking things! It seems like there is just an overwhelming number of clothes that look worn or tired to me and it is just too much effort to find that "diamond in the rough." A lot of people love it, though, but for me, it just does not work. I don't find them to be that cheap, either. I think they manipulate the last couple numbers to make them seem cheap, but there are stores where I can get better quality and better fitting clothes for the same price.

I wanted a cotton suit for a summer wedding and my graduation. Picked up a nice slim-fit one in H&M for €85 total in a nice medium grey with a slightly blue tint. It's 100% cotton and not shiny at all (though the exact same suit in navy, for example, was extremely shiny). I'm very short and my only other option was Topman at more than double the price and in their unflattering "skinny" fit (the jacket would barely reach past my belt line!) You get what you pay for, once you're not expecting the clothes to last forever they're good for the price.
